We collect basic furniture and household items to provide to those transitioning from homelessness into their own homes
Eight teenagers and two adults chose us for their mission experience this summer. They are a fabulous group of young people full of compassion and desire to serve the community. Check out their adventure in this video!
We continue to watch the recommendations for limiting exposure to COVID-19 and making decisions for our organization.
Beginning June 5, 2020
We will accept donations on Fridays, 10-5, and Saturdays 9-12, by appointment only
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
We receive client referrals from the area homeless and women's shelters (Willis Dady Homeless Services, Catherine McAuley Center, RISE, etc.). Our clients have worked very hard to overcome homelessness and are moving into their own housing.
We receive donations of basic furniture and household items, rescuing them from being sent to the landfill. Then we deliver the beds, dressers, kitchenware, etc. to our clients according to their needs, at no cost, to help turn a house into a home.
Our volunteers help in many ways including collecting donations, sorting through household goods, determining client needs, matching needs to donations, organizing our warehouse, delivering items to clients, managing our website and more.
Items most needed are twin, full and queen sized mattresses, box springs and bed frames and dressers.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help more families. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
